How it works
Add receipts in three simple steps
Create an account
Sign in on the web dashboard with email. No credit card. We are not a bank and we do not hold deposits.
Add a receipt
Photograph or upload a receipt image. Email forwarding is coming; we're exploring ways to connect supported store accounts.
We extract the fields
Merchant, date, totals, and line items land in your inbox. Community prices stay off unless you turn them on.

Private by default
We don't track you. Receipts are encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't sell personal information or use tracking cookies.
Automatic extraction
OCR reads merchant, date, totals, taxes, tenders, and line items. Matching can be wrong—check the original image for tax or chargebacks.
Your history
See receipts you added and the fields we extracted.
Community prices (coming)
When community prices launch, they stay off unless you turn them on. Data you choose to share is de-identified: item, price, merchant, coarse region (for example "Atlanta area", never a ZIP), and date. It isn't linked to your account, email, or name.
Future connections
Email forwarding for receipts and invoices is coming. We're exploring bank and card feeds and connections to supported store accounts. Any connection will be optional and off until you turn it on.
Web dashboard
Sign in with email (Firebase Auth). An Android capture app is in private testing. There is no App Store or Play listing yet.
Your transactions, matched to your receipts
Today, ReceiptBay keeps the receipts you add. Next, we're working on bringing your card and bank transactions into the same place, so each purchase sits next to its itemized receipt when one is available.

Forward email receipts
Forward a receipt email to your ReceiptBay address and it's added to your inbox with its line items.
Match transactions to receipts
Would match your transactions to itemized receipts when a receipt is available.
Store connections
Bring in itemized receipts from email, order-history files, and supported store accounts.
Accounting export
CSV first, then QuickBooks Online and Xero, with each receipt attached to the matching transaction.
Roadmap items aren't available yet and may change. Any new connection will be optional and off until you turn it on.
Built on trust and transparency
Your data is yours. We're upfront about what we collect and why.
We don't track you
No third-party tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no session replay. The only analytics we use is Umami (cookieless pageview counts on production only).

We don't sell personal information. When community prices launch, they stay off unless you turn them on. If you share, businesses may receive de-identified price statistics and must agree not to try to identify anyone. Shared data isn't linked to your account, email, or name.

Who else uses ReceiptBay, and what they can't see
Small businesses can use the same inbox for their receipts. When community prices launch, retailers and apps may request de-identified price statistics from people who turn sharing on. None of them can see your account or your receipts.
